Garbage Disposal Do's & Don'ts
Do’s

Always run “cold” water while running disposal.

Continue to run cold water after disposal has been shut off for 30 seconds.

Once a month put about 2 tablespoons full of baking soda this will help keep bad odors away.
Don’ts

Do not overload disposal. Run with small amounts of garbage at a time.
Things that should not go down the disposal:

Stringy veggies such as; celery, onion peels, lettuce or potato peels.

Shells of any kind or bones.

Do not put down any kind of grease.
